HC Deb 11 August 1893 vol 16 cc18-9
MR. HAYDEN (Roscommon, S.)

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether baskets imported into Ireland from the Continent have upon them any indication of the place of their manufacture?

MR. MUNDELLA

I have no information upon this question, which is a general one. I have, however, made inquiry of the Commissioners of Customs, and will furnish the hon. Member with a copy of their reply. There is nothing illegal in the importation of unmarked goods.
