SEXTONI beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether communications have been addressed to him representing that the Great Northern of Ireland Railway Company are seeking to impose rates for tobacco over 20 per cent, in excess of the rates charged last year; and whether, if so, he has intervened?
§ MR. MUNDELLAYes, Sir; and the Board of Trade have received from the Railway Company a letter on the subject, in which they deny the alleged increase. I shall be happy to show my hon. Friend a copy of the letter.
