BOLTON (St. Pancras, N.)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is aware that the plastering included in the contract for building the police station at Walthamstow has been sublet, in disregard of the understanding that Government work shall be carried out by the contractor to whom it is entrusted and not by sub-contractors; and whether he will take steps to have the undertaking carried out in this particular case?
