§ *THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF TRADE (Sir M. HICKS BEACH,) Bristol, W.The Regulations made by the Board of Trade with the concurrence of the Lord Chancellor under Section 2 of the Merchandise Marks Act, 1891, were laid upon the Table of the House on the 27th instant. Several instances of false marking have been brought under the notice of the Board of Trade. The Department has undertaken prosecutions in two cases, in each of which a conviction was obtained.
