POWELL (Wigan)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether it is the intention of the Government to propose the nomination by the Committee of Selection of "The Police and Sanitary Regulations Committee"; and whether his attention has been directed to the importance of making that proposal, should such be made, at an early date, in order that the Committee may be able to complete their duties without inconvenient delay?
