HC Deb 04 March 1892 vol 2 c50
MR. CHANNING (Northamptonshire, E.)

I should like to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he can now state the day when the Small Holdings Bill will be taken?

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

The intention of the Government is to read the Bill a second time so soon as we get through the necessary business of the Estimates. But that must not be taken as a specific pledge.

MR. WINTERBOTHAM (Gloucester, Cirencester)

Will notice be given when the Bill is to be taken?

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

I have no doubt adequate notice will be given.
