DE WORMSDespatches from Mauritius containing details of the hurricane have only just been received, and there has not as yet been time fully to consider them; but the proposal which has been made to guarantee a loan will receive favourable consideration. My hon. Friend is aware that remittances have already been made from the Bund opened by the Lord Mayor to relieve immediate distress in the Colony.
