SIDEBOTHAM (Cheshire, Hyde)I beg to ask the Postmaster General whether a final decision has been arrived at respecting the promised new post office for Hyde, Cheshire; and whether, seeing that the present office is utterly inadequate to the requirements of the town, he can expedite the transfer of the postal business to more suitable and convenient premises?
§ Sin JAMES FERGUSSONArrangements have been made with the Corporation of Hyde for the acquisition of a site at the corner of Corporation and Oldham Streets for the erection of a new post office building, and I understand that the Corporation are about to make application to the Local Government Board for authority to sell.
