CHANNING (Northampton, E.)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Agriculture whether the Board has considered the Report and the recommendations of the Departmental Committee as to the Transatlantic cattle trade; and whether he proposes this Session to bring in a Bill to enable the Board of Agriculture to carry out, so far as possible, any or all of the recommendations of the Committee?
§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF AGRICULTURE (Mr. CHAPLIN,) Lincolnshire, SleafordI have considered the Report and recommendations of the Departmental Committee upon the Transatlantic cattle trade, and I propose to ask the leave of the House to introduce a Bill to enable the Board of Agriculture to give effect to those recommendations, or such part of them as 1178 may appear to be desirable, in the course of a few days.
