HC Deb 14 May 1891 vol 353 c689
MR. J. BOLTON (Stirling)

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate whether, by the death of Mr. John Gair, Joint Procurator Fiscal at Falkirk, the Procurator Fiscal-ship there is vacant; and, if so, whether the gentleman who may be appointed to the office will be allowed to take private practice?

SIR C. PEARSON

The death of Mr. John Gair does not cause a vacancy in the office referred to. The office has devolved upon the survivor of the two joint holders of it.
