HC Deb 20 April 1891 vol 352 c930
MR. KNOX

I beg to ask the Postmaster General whether he can now say whether any arrangement can be made for connecting the post offices at Dowra and Glangelvin with the post office at Blacklion, in the County Cavan?

MR. RAIKES

As already explained, the present arrangements admit of an earlier delivery of letters at Dowra and Glangelvin than would be possible by way of Blacklion and Enniskillen. Yet, in order to ascertain if the views which have been expressed by the hon. Member can be met, I have ordered careful accounts to be taken showing the origin and destination of the correspondence: When these are rendered, I shall be in a position to decide the matter.
