§ MR. BRYCE (Aberdeen, S.)When will the Papers relating to the Behring Sea Fisheries be in the hands of hon. Members? Seeing that a telegraphic summary of the Papers presented at Washington has appeared in the morning papers, it is clear that hon. Members may reasonably expect to have their own copies by this time.
* SIR, J. FERGUSSONIf I had had notice of that question I should have endeavoured to be prepared to answer it. I stated, in answer to a question the other day, that the Papers were in course of preparation, but that they were very voluminous and might take some time. I shall be happy to tell the hon. Gentleman to-morrow when the Papers may be expected. May I add that I hope it will not be thought necessary to raise a Debate on a question which is still in course of negotiation?
