§ MR. CONYBEARE (Cornwall, Camborne)I had intended to ask the Postmaster General what number of men of the East Central Division were represented by the deputation which he stated waited upon him at: the Generall Post Office on Friday afternoon; whether they were authorised to speak to him in the name of the whole body of their fellow-workers; what were the points they laid before him, and what concessions he promised to them, or is now prepared to make to the postmen as a body? I do not at present propose to put these questions.
