I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, following the precedent in the year 1876 (see Appendix to the Lords' Committee on Intemperance, First Report, dated 23rd March, 1877), the Secretary of State will instruct Her Majesty's Minister at Stockholm to obtain information as to the working of the Gothenburg scheme for regulating the sale of intoxicating liquors from 1876 to the present time, and lay such information before Parliament?
