HC Deb 07 August 1890 vol 348 cc106-7
MR. DALTON (Donegal, W.)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, with reference to the Gazette Notice which has appeared, announcing that an application has been made for an Order in Council for the Killybegs Light Rail- way, whether this application could be heard until an agreement between the Light Railway Company and the Treasury had been concluded; whether such an agreement has been concluded; and whether he will without further delay put the Stranorlar and Glenties Light Railway Company in a position to proceed for an Order in Council for that much more important and really necessary undertaking?

MR. JACKSON

The Notice referred to is a necessary Notice preliminary to a hearing. The case mentioned is being carefully considered, and I understand that negotiations are going on.
