§ SIR W. HARCOURTI should like to know whether the First Commissioner of Works does not exercise a general authority over a considerable number of public buildings, and whether the buildings in question represented the accepted views of the Secretary of State?
§ *MR. PLUNKETIt is true that I exercise a general authority over a certain number of public buildings, and whatever I do I am abused for it. I prefer to express no opinion about the buildings on the Embankment.
