HC Deb 02 May 1889 vol 335 c992
MR. ATHERLEY-JONES (Durham, N.W.)

May I be allowed to say that I had a desire to ask leave to move the adjournment of the House for the purpose of discussing the arrest of Mr. Harrison and the prosecution of Mr. Conybeare, but in view of the fact that the matter is now under magisterial investigation, and in deference to the opinion expressed by you Mr. Speaker, I propose to defer the matter till after magisterial investigation is concluded.
