HC Deb 14 March 1889 vol 333 c1642
COLONEL LAURIE (Bath)

asked the Secretary of State for War whether the opinion of a late Attorney General on the subject of the use of the Honourable Artillery Ground by the City of London Volunteers was given in his capacity as Law Officer of the Crown, or in an unofficial capacity, on the case as submitted by the Honourable Artillery Company?

* MR. BRODRICK

The opinion referred to was given, I believe, in an unofficial capacity.
