I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if he has seen in the Freeman's Journal of the 21st June an account headed "Religious Ceremony on the Rock of Cashel," stating that to-day, for the first time since the Reformation, there was a solemn procession of the Blessed Sacrament through the 'City of the Kings,' and, for the second time, Solemn Benediction on the famous Rock"; whether permission was given by the Board of Works hold a religious service inside the pre[...]ts of the rock; and, whether the service, as reported, was a violation of the [...]?
