HC Deb 15 April 1889 vol 335 c485
MR. CAINE

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for India if he intends to lay upon the Table of the House any Papers relating to recent occurrences in Kashmir; and, if so, can he state when?

SIR J. GORST

I stated in reply to a question on the 14th of March that the Government of India attached very little importance to the Cashmir intercepted letters. No official papers have yet arrived in this country, and it is, therefore, impossible to say whether the Secretary of State will lay any on the Table.
