HC Deb 11 April 1889 vol 335 c223
MR. ARTHUR ELLIOT (Roxburghshire)

asked the President of the Board of Trade where, and by whom, objections lodged to revised classification and rates proposed by railway companies under "The Railway and Canal Traffic Act, 1888," are to be heard.

*SIR M. HICKS BEACH

said the objections lodged would in ordinary course be heard in London, at the office of the Board of Trade, but he proposed to make arrangements providing that where necessary they should be heard in Edinburgh and Dublin.
