HC Deb 11 April 1889 vol 335 c223
MR. MATTHEW KENNY (Tyrone, Mid)

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if any sitting of Sub-Commissioners under the Land Law (Ireland) Act has been held for the barony of Clogher, county Tyrone, since the passage of the Land Act of 1887; and, if not, if he could state the reason.

*MR. A. J. BALFOUR

The Land Commissioners inform me that the sittings of the Sub-Commissioners are not arranged according to baronies. A sub-commission sat for hearing cases from the Poor Law Union of Clogher, in the County Tyrone, in May last. There will be another sitting towards the end of this or the beginning of next month.
