§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. E. STANHOPE) (Lincolnshire, Horncastle)The length of the term of foreign service will be extended by one year in all departments in the interests of economy, and for the purpose of lengthening the period of service at home. As the service of an officer is available wherever Her Majesty may require it, no case for compensation arises.
