§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. E. STANHOPE) (Lincolnshire, Horncastle)Forty-six retired medical officers are at present employed. The question of extending the system of re-employment is at present under consideration. Such officers are re-appointed for five years, and if they continue to be required and are still efficient the term may be extended till they reach the age of 65 years.
