The item "Ground rents reserved in building leases, £129,951" does include ground rents in London and elsewhere. The total amount of ground rents in the Metropolitan area is between £81,000 and £82,000. To define accurately the total rental of the Ecclesiastical Commissioners from every source within the Metropolitan area would involve a considerable expenditure of time and trouble.
