MAJOR DICKSON (Dover)

asked the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether, as the convict prison at Dover is now ready and occupied, it is the intention of Her Majesty's Government to proceed with the harbour of refuge, the convict station having been established at Dover for that purpose?

, in reply, said, it was not the intention of Her Majesty's Government to ask Parliament this Session to make provision for the commencement of a harbour of refuge at Dover.
