§ MR. CHANNING (Northampton, E.)said, that, if not premature, he should like to ask the First Lord of the Treasury, Whether the revision of valuation would be dealt with as a separate Bill apart from the Local Government Bill; and, if so, whether the Government would be prepared to introduce a Bill for the revision of valuation, and to put it on a more simple basis during the present Session?
§ THE FIRST LORD (Mr. W. H. SMITH) (Strand, Westminster), in reply, said, it was usual to give Notice of the kind of Question asked by the hon. Member; but probably he was unacquainted with the practice. It was not possible for him to give any undertaking of the kind.
