HC Deb 14 March 1887 vol 312 cc177-8
Mr. F. W. MACLEAN (Oxford, Woodstock)

asked Mr. Attorney General, Whether his attention has been called to the unanimous recommendation contained in the Report, dated 7th August, 1885, of the Committee appointed by the Lord Chancellor (the Earl of Selborne) relative to the subject of the business of the Chancery Division of the High Court of Justice— That an additional Judge he appointed to the Chancery Division, and that the same staff of clerks be attributed to each of the Judges. And to the unanimous Resolution of the Committee— That an additional Judge be appointed, to be a Judge of the Chancery Division. And, whether it is the intention of Her Majesty's Government to take such steps as may be necessary to give effect to the above Recommendation and Resolution?

THE ATTORNEY GENERAL (Sir RICHARD WEBSTER) (Isle of Wight)
