§ THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. MATTHEWS) (Birmingham, E.)The Report was presented to the Lord Chancellor on June 27, and copies were laid on the same day on the Table of both Houses. It is now in the hands of the printers, and will shortly be issued. The Commissioners inform me that no formal engagement was entered into on 936 their part as to presenting a Statistical Summary in April; but there will be no difficulty in giving the Summary asked for next year, and a note has been made to that effect.
