asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, If his attention has been called to the reports of the rescue of a would-be suicide at Kingstown by Police Constable Samuel Ubank on Wednesday last; and, if the constable will be rewarded for his bravery on the occasion?

(who replied) said: The gallant conduct of Constable Ubank on the occasion alluded to has come before the Commissioner of Police, who will not fail to take the steps necessary to have the constable's bravery rewarded.
