§ THE PRESIDENT (Mr. RITCHIE) (Tower Hamlets, St. George's)The enumeration has been completed, and the Returns have been received; but it has been considered necessary to submit the Returns to a very critical course of 1798 examination. That is now being done in the Registrar General's Department, and I am afraid it will take some time. I am not able to say what time it will take; but the matter will be pushed forward as quickly as possible.
