SHAW LEFEVRE (Bradford, Central)asked the President of the Local Government Board, Whether the Government will be prepared to direct a Return to be made of the Landowners of London, in extension of the Return of the Landowners of the United Kingdom; the Return to show the names of freeholders, including ground landlords, the nature and present rateable value of their properties, and where possible the amount of the ground rent?

Gentleman, will be very difficult to obtain, and will certainly involve very considerable expenditure. I will, however, cause inquiries to be made on the subject.
