asked the Lord Advocate, If his attention has been called to the distressed condition of the population of the village of Kintra, in the Ross of Mull, Argyllshire; and, if he would cause inquiry to be made into their circumstances and as to their urgent need of assistance to enable them to obtain seed potatoes?

in reply, said, that until the Question was put on the Paper he had heard nothing of the matter. He had communicated with the Board of Supervision, and they had no information. Inquiry would, however, be made.
