HC Deb 07 June 1886 vol 306 c1138
DR. CAMERON (Glasgow, College)

asked the President of the Board of Trade, Whether the Reports from Foreign Governments respecting the experiments at South Foreland, referred to by him in his reply to the Member for the West Derby Division of Liverpool on the 11th March last, have yet been received; and, if not, whether he will give instructions for the publication of such Reports on the subject as have come to hand, and reserve for subsequent consideration the question of supplementing them with other Reports that may be received?

THE SECRETARY (Mr. C. T. D. ACLAND)(who replied) (Cornwall, Launceston)

said: The Board of Trade are anxious to avoid, if possible, presenting to Parliament an incomplete Return on this interesting subject; and they have again asked the Foreign Office to endeavour to obtain, as soon as possible, the Reports of the Representatives of the French and Belgian Governments.
