HC Deb 13 March 1885 vol 295 c1083
MR. O'BRIEN

Before the Chief Secretary for Ireland leaves the House, perhaps he will be able to answer another Question. I beg to ask him whether he has any intention on the part of the Government to interfere with the National demonstration at Derry?

MR. CAMPBELL-BAN NEBMAN

When?

MR. O'BRIEN

On St. Patrick's Day.

MR. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN

The question I have been obliged to ask will show the hon. Member that I am unable to answer his Question.

MR. O'BRIEN

As it is of great importance that the intention of Her Majesty's Government should be known at once, I beg to give Notice that I will put this Question again before the rising of the House.
