asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, "What steps have been taken to bring to justice the persons who recently insulted and assaulted the two Sisters of Mercy in the streets of Derry?

MR. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN

Eight youths who are charged with this offence were to be brought up before the magistrates to-day.

MR. SEXTON

What was the charge against the youths in the summons?

MR. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN

I have no information on the subject. I have received a telegram since I came into the House about the matter; but as it is not very intelligible I would prefer not giving the information it contains.
