HC Deb 23 February 1885 vol 294 c1042
MR. MARJORIBANKS

asked the President of the Board of Trade, Whether he can now state what are the intentions of the Government with regard to the recommendations contained in the Report of the Harbour Accommodation Committee of last Session?

MR. CHAMBERLAIN

This Report has had the very careful attention of the Board of Trade during the Recess, and we have now prepared recommendations and conclusions on the subject. These have now been submitted to the Government. The matter is of very great importance; and I can assure the hon. Member that no time will be lost in coming to a final decision.
