asked the First Lord of the Admiralty, What steps are to be taken on the important Report made by the Committee of Investigation into the financial errors of the late Board of Admiralty?

THE FIRST LORD (Lord GEORGE HAMILTON),

in reply, said, that it was intended to appoint a Committee, consisting of his hon. Friend the Secretary to the Admiralty (Mr. Ritchie), Sir Reginald Welby (Accountant General of the Navy), and Mr. Macgregor (Permanent Secretary to the Admiralty), to make a Report, with a view of suggesting such alterations as would remedy the defects brought to light.
