HC Deb 06 November 1884 vol 293 c1113
MR. ANDERSON

asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, If he has observed that a Report by Consul General Oppenheimer as to wages in machine factories in Germany, just published by the Foreign Office, is rendered almost valueless for comparison by the total omission of all reference to the number of hours in the working day; and, if he will take steps to have this omission rectified?

LORD EDMOND FITZMAURICE

Mr. Oppenheimer will be instructed to forward a supplementary Report containing the information asked for by the hon. Member.
