HC Deb 19 July 1883 vol 281 c1893
MR. KENNY

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, If it is a fact that a police but is about being erected at Kilmoors, near Lisdoonvarna, county Clare; if so, at whose cost; will the police proposed to be stationed there be charged to the locality; and, if he will state what are the reasons which have induced the authorities to take this step?

MR. TREVELYAN

Sir, it has been thought desirable to remove a police station from Moanreal to Kilmoors, as it is more required in the latter place. The men are a part of the ordinary county force, and will not be charged to the locality.
