GLADSTONE, in reply, said, he was afraid, if the Question meant that the Government were to postpone any Business that was now immediately before the House, for the sake of giving time for the discussion of that subject, he must reply in the negative. They were now reaching a period of the Session when the Legislative Business of the Government would begin to decline; and the hon. Member might find an opportunity himself for his Motion.
