§ MR. TREVELYANMr. Morris Reade, E.M., has sent in his resignation; but there is no foundation for the statement in the next paragraph of the Question. Mr. Reade expressed his desire to take advantage of the favourable terms of retirement offered by His Excellency with the sanction of the Treasury, and His Excellency accepted his resignation.
