HC Deb 06 July 1882 vol 271 c1608
MR. CHAPLIN

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Why, in the Returns of the proceedings of the Irish Land Courts issued recently, the number of cases settled by agreement out of Court have not been stated as before; and, what is the total number of cases settled out of Court up to the date of the latest Returns presented to the House?

MR. TREVELYAN

Sir, I have presented to-day a Return containing the latest information up to and including the 30th of June. It shows that the total number of agreements fixing fair rents was up to that date 9,369.
