HC Deb 03 July 1882 vol 271 c1238
MR. O'CONNOR POWER

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, If it is true that the Trustees to aid Sea Coast Fisheries in Ireland declined recently to make a loan to certain fishermen in the county of Mayo, because they had not paid their rents, although the Trustees had received reports that the applicants for the loan were respectable men, and the securities proposed for the repayment were perfectly solvent?

MR. TREVELYAN

I have asked for a Report on this question, but have not yet received it.
