said, that he had on the Paper for Tuesday, the 2nd of May, a Motion with reference to statutes for Jesus College. They were laid on the Table of the House for three months, in order that the House might consider them. If he were precluded by a Morning Sitting being taken on the 2nd of May from bringing on the Motion he should have no opportunity of calling attention to the subject, and the House would have no opportunity of considering it, unless the Government gave up some time for the purpose. It would, therefore, be his duty to protest against the Morning Sitting.
