HC Deb 21 April 1882 vol 268 c1110
SIR R. ASSHETON CROSS

wished to say, with reference to the commencement of Tuesday Sittings, that the Settled Land Bill, which came down from the other House before Easter, had been placed in his charge, and no effort should be wanting on his part to take the decision of the House upon it. He hoped that, if the Government proposed to take all the remaining Tuesdays of the Session, they would make some arrangement by which it could be discussed.
