§ MR. CHILDERSSir, the value of the guns, carriages, and projectiles now being manufactured by private firms on behalf of the War Department is a little over £46,000. I know nothing of any orders for other Departments of the Government; but if the hon. and gallant Member refers to the Admiralty, their requirements are met by the War Office, and the material at this moment in course of manufacture for them is included in the £46,000.
