HC Deb 05 May 1881 vol 260 c1839
MR. MONK

gave Notice that it was his intention to ask the decision of the House on the half-past 12 o'clock Rule when the Orders of the Day were disposed of.

SIR JOHN MOWBRAY

asked, Whether, under the proper interpretation of the half-past 12 o'clock Rule, it would be competent for the hon. Member to bring forward the subject after half-past 12, there being four Notices of Amendments to the Motion?

MR. SPEAKER

I observe on the Paper four Amendments to the Resolution of the hon. Member for Gloucester; and, therefore, it comes within the operation of the half-past 12 o'clock Rule.
