CAPTAIN AYLMERasked the Secretary of State for War, Whether it is intended to give to the senior officers of the Army Pay Department any compensation in consequence of their being superseded by their juniors through the operation of paragraph 8 of the Royal Warrant of December 25th, 1880?
§ MR. CHILDERSSir, I will look into this matter; but, as at present advised, I do not consider that the senior officers of the Army Pay Department referred to in the hon. and gallant Member's Question have any claim whatever to compensation.
