§ CAPTAIN PRICEasked the Civil Lord of the Admiralty, Whether his attention 1234 has been called to the small number of Greenwich Pensions allotted to Engineer officers in the Navy; and if the Admiralty propose to make any alteration?
§ MR. T. BRASSEYSir, the claims of Engineer officers to Greenwich pensions have been carefully considered, and it has boon thought equitable to increase the number allotted to that branch of the Service. A Memorial has been submitted for Her Majesty's approval, increasing the number of pensions for Engineers by one pension of £80 a-year and eight pensions of £50 a-year. The total number of Greenwich pensions available for Engineers will be raised, under the new Regulations, from eight to 17.
